Despite the crucial role that digital technologies play in powering economic growth; the digital divide remains prominent on both national and subnational scales especially in remote and online learning, tele-health services, digital banking and e-financial services as well as digitising small and
medium businesses and organisations. Therefore, digital inclusion policies and investments should be embedded within national priorities that lead to greater access and affordability of digital technologies. It is important to explore practical solutions that can bridge the digital gap and create a truly inclusive digital economy by focusing on access, inclusion, and shared benefits.
